The next CoderDojo Oxford will be on the 29th April and the 6th May sign up now.
We will only admit those who have booked with us we will not be able to admit anyone who has not booked.
CoderDojo Oxford is a free youth club for children age 7 to 17 where they can learn to code and, importantly, have fun!
We normally run on a Saturday but check the details on our sign up page to confirm venues and dates, you must have a ticket to attend.
CoderDojo is an open source, volunteer led, global movement of free coding clubs for young people, with almost 400 worldwide.
CoderDojo Oxford is run by volunteer Mentors. If you would like to find out more, please contact us.
You don't need any coding experience! If it's something you want to learn, sign up, bring your laptop (and power cord) and come along!
CoderDojo has only one rule: Be Cool!
Use the eventbrite register link on the left or click here to sign up to an event.
We rely on volunteers to run, and sometimes with our busy lives, we sadly do not have enough available to run a successful Dojo.
If we do need to cancel a particular week, we will email all those who signed up, and put up a notice on the website.
To sign up select the date you want to attend and then click Register Now!
All attendees must have a ticket to attend. Please note that events may be posted and amended at the last minute since we rely on volunteers. If an event is cancelled we will email anyone who has signed up to advise of the cancellation so please check your email prior to attending an event. We run only when an event is available to book please dont turn up on spec.
We give kids a chance to get help and support to learn coding (computer programming), from Mentors and from each other. CoderDojos are all about collaboration, helping each other and sharing experiences!
We are focussing on what the kids want to learn! At the moment we split our sessions into 3 groups: Web design (HTML, CSS), Games design (Unity 2D/3D) and Scratch.
If there's something else the kids want to learn, they can let us know so we can help.
The downloads will be useful at CoderDojo Oxford. It is quicker to download these at home so they are ready when you get here.
Whether you've got a question, want to find our more about us, or want to tell us about the awesome stuff you've been doing with coding, we'd love to hear from you! If you're on Twitter, you can reach us at @CoderDojoOxford.
You can contact us via the email and someone will get back to you.
CoderDojo Oxford is now looking for venues who can host us, if you think you can help please contact us at email@example.com , thanks!.
